Gas and LNG markets—and prices—will continue to face a turbulent year. European and U.S. gas storage levels are expected to be lower than usual at the end of the winter season, while conflict in Ukraine and sanctions placed on Russia will contribute to higher volatility. With net-zero emissions continuing to impact the industry, this unpredictability emphasizes the importance of knowing daily price movements and the need for forward risk management.
